He received  Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (specialty on rehabilitation and biomedical engineering) from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His current research interests include: biomedical signal processing, machine learning, muscle fatigue, electromyography, electro cardiography, rehabilitation engineering, (sEMG)-based physical human robot interactions.
